Our terms of service outline the rules and expectations for using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

DignityHost owns all editorial content, design elements, graphics, and materials published on this website.

By registering for, accessing, or using any service provided by DignityHost ("Services"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("TOS"). You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

This TOS supersedes any verbal or written communication by DignityHost employees. DignityHost reserves the right to modify this TOS at any time. Updates will be published at https://dignityhost.com. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.


2. Account Ownership & Responsibility

  • Only the paying customer is recognized by DignityHost
  • Resellers are fully responsible for their clients' actions
  • Violations by a client are treated as violations by the reseller
  • Any breach of this TOS may result in suspension or termination without prior notice.

3. Service Delivery

  • Services are provisioned automatically after successful payment
  • Login credentials are sent to the registered email address
  • If automation fails, delivery may take up to 24 hours

4. New Account Verification

To prevent fraud, DignityHost may require government-issued identification (NID, Passport, or Driving License) and proof of address (Utility Bill).

Documents must be submitted within 3 days of account creation. Failure to comply may result in order cancellation or termination. Providing false or misleading information will result in immediate termination.


5. Transfers & Migrations

  • Transfers are provided on a best-effort basis
  • Completion and compatibility are not guaranteed
  • Free migration support is available for 3 days after signup

6. Refund Policy (10-Day Guarantee)

Only web hosting services are eligible for refunds.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 10 days
  • Refunds are issued only once per customer
  • DignityHost reserves the final decision on refund eligibility

Non-Refundable Services

  • Domain registration, renewal, or transfer
  • SSL certificates
  • Setup and processing fees
  • Services terminated due to policy violations

7. Billing & Payments

All services are prepaid.

Applicable Taxes

  • 5% VAT on hosting and IT-enabled services
  • 5% VAT + 2% Sales Tax on web development services

If a customer holds multiple accounts, DignityHost may suspend all services until outstanding balances are cleared.


9. Cancellations

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted via the Client Area
  • Cancelled accounts are permanently deleted after 30 days
  • Suspended accounts inactive for 10 days may be erased

10. Resource Usage & Overage Policy

Shared hosting accounts must operate within allocated limits. Excessive usage may result in automatic suspension. DignityHost will never auto-charge for overages.

Shared hosting is strictly prohibited for file storage, backups, or media dumping.


11. Prohibited Content & Activities

All services must comply with the laws of Bangladesh.

  • Pirated software or warez
  • Hacking tools and exploit scripts
  • Spam, phishing, or fraudulent content
  • Child exploitation material
  • Hate speech, violence, or illegal activities

12. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy

DignityHost maintains a strict zero-tolerance spam policy. Only opt-in email marketing is allowed. Any UCE/UBE activity will result in immediate suspension.


13. Script & Application Usage Policy

  • Scripts must not exceed 20% CPU usage
  • Excessive RAM or bandwidth usage is prohibited
  • Malicious or insecure scripts will be removed
  • chmod 777 is discouraged unless approved

14. Server Abuse & Security

  • Unauthorized system access
  • DDoS or brute-force attacks
  • Malware, worms, or trojans
  • Network scanning or exploitation

15. Backups & Data Responsibility

DignityHost is not responsible for data loss. Customers must maintain their own backups. Complimentary backups apply only to shared hosting. VPS and Dedicated servers do not include automatic backups.


16. Scheduled Maintenance & Downtime

Services are provided 24/7 on a best-effort basis. Scheduled maintenance will be notified at least 48 hours in advance. Shared hosting services do not include uptime guarantees.


17. Limitation of Liability

All services are provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE. DignityHost is not liable for data loss, business interruption, or indirect damages.


18. Right to Refuse Service

DignityHost reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service at its sole discretion, with or without notice.


19. Modifications

DignityHost may add, remove, or modify any part of this Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.


20. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.


By using DignityHost services, you acknowledge and agree to all terms stated above.
